Gina Hounslow, 

Animal Nursing Assistant      

Gina has worked with us since 2005. Gina has over 20 years experience working in veterinary practices. Gina is also a distinguished breeder of Samoyeds and is a regular winner at Crufts!

Melissa Shears,   

Veterinary Nurse    

Mel qualified in 2016 after studying  veterinary nursing at Lite in Stockport after completing an animal care qualification. She has enjoyed every aspect of her course and has gained good skills and knowledge.

She had previously worked at the Ashton Practice for three years on reception and then onto the nursing side of the practice. She has three cats called Selene, Revvi and Opie, two dogs Ziva and Liat and enjoys walking with them and her husband.

Nicola Cross,

Veterinary Nurse  

Nicola is one of our qualified nurses who started working for Tameside when our new clinic opened in June 2012.  She has been working in the veterinary field since 2002.
Nicola has 3 cats called Vivienne, Marmalade and Tinkerbelle. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her young family and socializing with friends.
 

Becki Weekes - Student Nurse                                                                      

Vicki Egan - Veterinary Nurse

Although Vicki qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2014 she has worked in a veterinary practice since 2003 and started work here at Tameside Veterinary Clinic in January 2015. She has a number of pets all rescued including 3 dogs, 4 cats and a Macaw named Ozzie.

Zara Clephane - Head Veterinary Nurse  

Zara has been nursing for ten years and moved to be in Manchester from Devon, She moved to our Ashton clinic in 2014. In her spare time Zara enjoys competitive riding with her horse and walking her two dogs

James Diggle - Student Nurse

Victoria Samba - Veterinary Nurse

Vikki qualified in 2014 as a registered veterinary nurse but has worked with animals since before leaving school. Vikki joined us after spending sometime working at the RSPCA hospital. This is were she rescued her dog Kimbo and cat Tallulah, she also has two other dos Emo and Lollipop which are her pride and joy.
